In World War II a common man becomes an uncommon hero when he defies the German occupation in Norway. Through carefully planned acts of sabotage, he leads a group of freedom fighters that cause chaos within the Reich in this powerful wartime thriller. Max Manus has set attendance records in its native Norway and was the official selection for Best Foreign Language Film from Norway for the Academy Awards.
